Dr. Francis LaCouvée

Dentist
From growing up on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast to founding Arbutus Dental in 1998, Francis’s journey has always been shaped by curiosity and care. Inspired by a local mentor, he pursued dentistry through UBC and the Canadian Military before settling in Qualicum Beach. Today, he continues to provide exceptional care while enjoying fishing, golfing, and time with his wife Lesley and their three sons.

Dr. Simon Gooch

Dentist
Simon grew up in Williams Lake loving the outdoors before moving to Victoria for school and work. After discovering a passion for dentistry, he graduated top of his UBC class in 2011. He joined Arbutus Dental Clinic in 2017, known for his ethical, caring approach. Off work, he enjoys biking, skiing, building projects, and time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Dylan Conover

Dentist
Born and raised in Qualicum Beach, Dylan always knew he wanted to give back to his community. After earning a degree in microbiology, working with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and completing dental training at UBC, he’s thrilled to return home. Passionate about general dentistry and the outdoors, Dylan is eager to care for Oceanside families both in and out of the clinic.
